B. Devon 1982 Abby graduated from Somerset College of Art in 2002; while a student her work was published in The Face. Soon after, The Wellington in Knightsbridge exhibited ‘Foreign Policy’ a large painting depicting President Bush; his head crudely positioned on a bare breasted dominatrix whipping Tony Blair on all fours. The painting was later donated to the peace protestor Brian Haw. Passionate about Brians cause for peace Abby knew the painting in all it’s satiricle glory - belonged with Brian’s banner display situated in Parliament Square, Westminster. In the summer of 2006 the painting was destroyed without warning by the Metropolitan Police in a dawn raid. Her work was loaded into a skip losing the painting along with the artist Banksy’s work & other displays.

“When I pass Protestors everyday at Downing Street, and believe me, you name it they protest against it, I may not like what they call me, but I thank God they can. That's called Freedom'' - Tony Blair, 7th april 2002

In 2007 the critically acclaimed artist Mark Wallinger ressurected Brians' Banner Display in it's entirity including Abby's ‘Foreign Policy’ painting as part of the high profile Duveens Commission, at the Tate Brtiain.
